Sara focuses on "Navigating the Challenges of Aging Parents and Personal Identity." This addresses the complexities individuals face as they reassess parental values, foster independence, and establish their own belief systems. I also emphasize "Emotional Intelligence and Assertive Self-Advocacy," helping clients deepen their understanding of emotions and effectively communicate their needs. Sara’s work in "Empowerment and Self-Discovery" centers on building confidence and embracing individuality. Additionally, with a comprehensive approach to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, Sara utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thought patterns. Sara aims to address the interconnected challenges of recovery, promoting a direct and relatable therapeutic relationship.
